GO BUCKEYES!!!!
This will also go down as one of my all time faves. This Block-O cake was made for our friend Dave's rehearsal dinner cake. I have a silicone Block-O cake pan so the shape was easy (if you don't have the cake pan, just take a 9x13 and carve out the shape). The cake is frosted in buttercream and homemade strawberry filling every other layer and on the top. The Buckeye leaf and Buckeyes are made out of fondant. Since it was 100 degrees out (literally!) the strawberry filling started to thin out and drip, so I'll make sure to create thicker borders around the top to prevent this.
It took a long time but I enjoyed every minute of it!!
